CT Tech - Radiology

Location: Oro Valley, Arizona
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Hours per Week: 36


Job Description

  • Provide timely diagnostic CT services to inpatients and outpatients under Radiologist direction and departmental protocols.
  • Perform basic radiographic procedures, fluoroscopy, portable radiographic procedures, C-arm procedures, and OR imaging services.
  • Conduct routine diagnostic CT scans including head/brain, neck, thorax, spine, abdomen/pelvis, extremities, and biopsy/drainage procedures.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of CT system processing, surgical/sterile procedures, studies with or without contrast media, and cross-sectional anatomy.
  • Required to float to sister facilities as needed.
  • Shift schedule: 3 shifts of 12 hours each on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday (Sat 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM, Sun 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM, Mon 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM).
  • Scrubs of any color are acceptable.

Required Qualifications

  • Valid CT Technologist license in Arizona
  • Minimum 2 years of CT Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
  • Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Additional Information

  • Floating to other facilities is required.
