Registered Nurse (Telemetry) - Travel Assignment

Night Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (3 twelve-hour shifts per week)
Work 6 weekend shifts every 6 weeks
36 hours per week
48-hour guarantee considered

Job Description

Provide patient care on Medical-Surgical/Telemetry units following the Nursing Process and state Nurse Practice Act.
Demonstrate critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership in planning and delivering safe care.
Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education.
Delegate patient care priorities based on staff education and experience.
Supervise and direct assigned personnel delivering patient care.
Position is float pool; must be willing to float between multiple departments and facilities.

Patient Ratio

6 patients per nurse

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Arizona
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Minimum 2 years of Med Surg / Telemetry experience, including experience within the last year
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
Experience with Cerner EMR
