Cath Lab Registered Nurse Travel/Contract Job - Arlington, Virginia
Job Details
- Position: Cath Lab Registered Nurse (Circulator)
- Location: Arlington, Virginia
- Employment Type: Travel/Contract
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Shift: Day shift, 4x10-hour shifts (07:00 - 17:30)
- Call Requirements:
- 2-3 call shifts per week (long or short call)
- 2 call weekends in a 6-week period
- Short call during the week: 17:30-20:00 post-shift as backup if cases are complete; stay if cases are running
- Short call on weekends: 07:00-14:00 Saturday and Sunday
- Long call (overnight emergency call): 17:30-07:00, must be on-site within 30 minutes of page
- Weekend long call starts Friday 17:30 through Sunday 07:00
- Scrubs: Provided by hospital
- Electronic Health Record: EPIC CUPID Cath Lab system
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Virginia
- Minimum of 1 year of Cardiac Cath Lab experience, with experience within the last year
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Additional Information
- Weekend Work: Typically 2 weekends of call in a 6-week period
- COVID-19: Possible exposure
- Badge Requirements: Must wear both agency and facility badges at all times
- Orientation: EPIC training modules required for OR candidates; Cath Lab candidates complete EPIC training onsite
- Safety and Compliance: Must complete annual core parts I, II, and III training and other facility-required safety tests and attestations
- Performance Evaluations: Required if previously worked with the agency for over 1 year (clinical) or 2 years (internal)
- Work History Verification: Standard 7-year verification required
