Shift Details
- Day shift
- Hours: 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM
- 40 hours per week (5 days x 8 hours)
Required Qualifications
- Specialty: Surgical Services
- Valid professional license for CVOR Tech in California
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification (AHA or Canadian Heart & Stroke Foundation)
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification (AHA or Canadian Heart & Stroke Foundation)
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification (AHA or Canadian Heart & Stroke Foundation), if applicable
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure) certification, if applicable
- Chemotherapy certification, if applicable
- Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) certification, if applicable
- IV Certification, if applicable
- Management of Assaultive Behavior (MAB), if applicable
- NIH Stroke Certification, if applicable
- CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute) certification, if applicable
- Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam, if applicable
- Competency Exams as required by specialty/unit
- Color Blind Testing if specifically requested (minimum 80% score)
- Valid state license verification (NURSYS verification required for RNs; for CVOR Tech, state license copy required)
- References: Minimum 2 references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting
- Employment Application covering at least last 5 years of employment with month/year format for dates worked
