Description
Registered CT Technologist
Location: Delta, Colorado
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Weekend Shift (Saturday, Sunday, Monday) - 3 shifts of 12 hours each
Hours per Week: 40
Job Responsibilities
- Transport patients according to their physical abilities for imaging exams.
- Use positioning aides to ensure quality patient exams.
- Operate all CT-related equipment.
- Protect patients following X-Ray Department policies and procedures.
- Assist with administration of contrast media as ordered by Radiologist.
- Support special procedures as needed.
- Assist in training Radiology students.
- Practice sterile technique and Universal Precautions.
- Maintain records according to department policies.
- Clean rooms after each exam and restock linen and supplies.
Required Qualifications
- Registered CT Technologist (ARRT certification required).
- Minimum of 1 year of CT Technologist experience within the last year.
- BLS Certification required.
Additional Information
- Weekend shifts primarily.
- 40 hours per week with 12-hour shifts.
