Operating Room Registered Nurse - Travel/Contract
Location: Burbank, California
Facility Type: Acute Care Hospital

Job Details
- Employment Type: Travel/Contract
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Shift: Day shift, 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM (5 days a week, 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week)
- Start Date: ASAP
- Patient Ratio: 1:1
- Call Requirements:
- 4-6 call shifts in a 6-week period (includes weekend calls)
- Call hours: Monday-Friday 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM; Saturday and Sunday 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- Weekend Requirement: Only to pick up call shifts
- Floating: May be required to float between units at manager’s discretion
- Schedule: Open to block scheduling per manager discretion
- Guaranteed Hours: Facility may call off once per two-week pay period
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in California
- Minimum 2 years of Operating Room (OR) experience, including experience within the last year
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification issued by the American Heart Association
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Additional Requirements
- Photo for Badge: Passport-style photo with neutral background required
- Competency Exams: Medication test/pharmacology competency and other specialty-specific competency exams as applicable
- Work History Verification: Required if reference requirements are not met, minimum 5 years verified work history
- Annual Regulatory Training: Completion of required annual modules via LMS (Workramp) including core, specialty, and regional training paths
- On-Call Requirement: Yes, with specified call hours and frequency
