Description
RN - Operating Room Circulator
Location
- Clinton Township, Michigan
Contract Length
- 13 weeks
Job Summary
- Provide leadership in coordinating and delivering quality, compassionate patient care.
- Utilize the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation) to provide, delegate, supervise, and document care and patient/family teaching.
- Communicate pertinent patient/family information effectively to the healthcare team.
- Participate in identifying and implementing solutions for variances from patient goals.
Schedule
- Three 12-hour day shifts (7:00 am – 7:30 pm)
- One 12-hour weekend shift every 5 weeks
- One 12-hour call shift every 8 weeks
- Approximately 36 hours per week
Responsibilities
- Patient preparation and room readiness
- Opening supplies
- Charting (services must be listed on the resume)
- Approximately 40% of cases involve orthopedic volume
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Michigan
- Minimum 2 years of Operating Room Circulator experience, including experience within the last year
- BLS certification
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
