Description
Registered Nurse - Operating Room (OR)
Location: Caldwell, Idaho
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Hours per Week: 36
Unit Overview
- Unit: Operating Room with 6 OR suites
- Patient Ratio: 1:1
- Staffing includes RNs, CSTs, OR Aides, and Anesthesia Techs
- Equipment used: Stryker, Steris, Olympus, Zimmer, Mizuho
- Documentation system: Meditech
- Floating policy: Able to float between Main OR, Endoscopy, and Outpatient Surgery on 2nd floor
- Procedures performed: Orthopedics, Neurosurgery, Spine, Urology, General Surgery, Gynecology, Bariatrics, Podiatry, Endoscopy, ECTs
- Advanced skills required: Robotics experience with Da Vinci system
- Dress code: Scrubs provided
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Idaho
- Minimum 2 years of Operating Room (OR) experience, including experience within the last year
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Certifications: BLS and ACLS required
- Experience with Robotics, specifically Da Vinci system
- Experience in Orthopedics and Urology specialties

- Schedule requirement: 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM
- Unit offers exposure to advanced surgical technology and a variety of surgical specialties
- Patient experience and unit-specific policies are emphasized to ensure quality care and smooth operations
