Registered Nurse (RN) - Operating Room (OR)
Location: Aurora, Colorado
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Hours per Week: 36
Unit Information
- Unit: Operating Room (OR)
- Number of OR beds: 11
- Staff on unit: 53
- Patient ratio: 2:1
- Shift coverage includes night shift charge nurse, techs, and on-call trauma, neuro, and heart teams
- Equipment: Standard OR equipment
- EMR system: Meditech
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Colorado
- Minimum 2 years of Operating Room (OR) experience, including experience within the last year
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) / Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Acute Care experience
- Current certifications: BLS and ACLS
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior Meditech EMR experience
- Charge nurse experience (highly preferred and prioritized)
- Precepting experience

- Cardiovascular Thoracic (CVT)

- Gynecology (GYN)
- Robotic surgeries
Work Schedule and Call Requirements
- 36 hours per week
- Call: 1-2 nights per week and 1-2 weekend call shifts per month
