Registered Nurse - Oncology (Travel Assignment)
Location: Lewiston, Maine
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Overview
- Work in a 190-bed hospital providing 24/7 Emergency Care (Trauma Level III), Cardiovascular Services, Cancer Care, Orthopedic Care, Women’s & Children’s Health, and Primary Care Services
- Unit: Med-Surg/Oncology (Floor M1)
- Shift: 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM (3 shifts per week, 12 hours each)
- Weekly Hours: 36 hours guaranteed
- Patient Ratio: 1 nurse to 5 patients
- Float Requirements: Must be able to float to all inpatient areas
- Call Requirements: None
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Maine
- Minimum 2 years of oncology nursing experience, including experience within the last year
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Experience with pneumonia (PNA) and general surgery patients
