Physical Therapist Travel Job – Margate, Florida
Job Details
- Position: Physical Therapist (PT)
- Employment Type: Travel
- Location: Margate, Florida
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Hours per Week: 36
- Shift: Day shift only
Unit Information
- Number of Beds: 281
- Staffing: 11 PTs (8 PRN), 2 PTAs, 2 PRN Office Coordinators
- Patient Load: 8-10 patients per 8-hour shift; assigned 10-13 patients
- Equipment Used: Walkers, Crutches, Braces, Wheelchairs
- Documentation System: Meditech
- Call Requirement: Must be available for call by 7:00 AM

Required Qualifications
- Valid Physical Therapist license in Florida
- Minimum 2 years of Physical Therapist experience, including experience within the last year
- BLS Certification
- De-escalation skills in a healthcare setting

- Previous travel experience preferred
- Ability to quickly learn Meditech and adapt to a fast-paced environment
- Independent worker
Work Environment
- Positive, cohesive, and highly engaged department
- Dress code: Gray scrubs
