CT Tech Travel Opportunity - Florida

Location

  • Jacksonville, Florida
  • Facility: Emergency Department, 12-bed unit
  • Equipment: GE Tempo, GE Maxima CT, AMX
  • Documentation Systems: Meditech, GE Centricity PACS

Position Details

  • Employment Type: Travel
  • Contract Length: 13 weeks
  • Hours per Week: 36
  • Unit Staffing: 1 CT Tech per shift
  • Floating Policy: Allowed to pick up extra shifts at other FSEDs or hospital locations

Job Responsibilities

  • Perform all CT and X-ray exams, including CT post-processing
  • Advanced skills required for CT imaging of stroke patients
  • Provide professional and empathic patient interactions

Required Qualifications

  • Valid CT Technologist license in Florida
  • Minimum 2 years of CT Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
  • ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology (R) and Computed Tomography (CT)
  • BLS certification
  • Experience as an X-Ray Technician
