Registered Nurse (Float Ambulatory Clinic) - Wisconsin
Job Details
- Location: Beaver Dam, Wisconsin
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Shift: Day shift, 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week
- Floating: Required to float as needed within the clinic
- Orientation: 2 weeks (number of shifts)
- Weekend and holiday work: Not required
- Call or standby: Not required
- Dress Code: Any scrubs
- Clinic Type: Cardiology and Pulmonary, with float duties
- Average Patients per Day: 15-18
- Average Providers per Day: 1
- Use of Medical Assistants or CNAs: Yes (shift 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM or 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM)
- Electronic Medical Record (EMR) System: Cerner
Job Duties
- Placing orders
- Calling patients back
- Triage and reviewing results for provider
- Chart preparation
Patient Population
- Cardiac and pulmonary patients
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Wisconsin
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) / Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- BLS Certification
- Minimum 1 year of ambulatory care experience, including experience within the last year
- Clinic experience
- Cardiology experience
- Pulmonology experience
