Description
CT Technologist Position
Location: Barberton, Ohio
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (13 weeks)
Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Job Description
- Assist with invasive procedures related to CT imaging.
- Perform other duties as training and skills allow.
- Must be able to calibrate and operate CT equipment, position patients, apply restraining devices, and administer intravenous contrast injections.
- Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and hospital staff.
- Ability to lift and position patients as needed.
- Utilize computer and filing systems for patient records.
- Ability to initiate CPR (CPR certification required).
- Expected to complete CT registry certification within one year of hire.
Required Qualifications
- Valid CT Technologist license in Ohio
- Registered Technologist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Minimum of 2 years of CT Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
- Experience working in an acute care setting
