Description
Job Opportunity: Cardiac Cath Lab Tech
Location
- Sarasota, Florida

- Travel assignment
Contract Length
- 13 weeks
Work Schedule
- Approximately 36 hours per week
- Scheduled every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital staff
Unit Information
- Cardiac Cath Lab with 2 labs and 10 staff members
- Day shift: 1-2 RNs and 1-2 techs per lab (about 3 staff per case)
- Night shift: on-call only, 3-person team
- Patient ratio: 1:1 during cases
- Equipment: GE systems
- Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system: Meditech
Typical Procedures
- Left Heart Catheterization (LHC)
- Right Heart Catheterization (RHC)
- Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI)
- Shockwave therapy
- Pacemaker placement (PPM)
- Impella device support
- Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP)
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Cath Lab Radiology Technologist, including experience within the last year
- Current ACLS certification
- Current BLS certification
- Cath Lab Tech Certification
- Experience as a Cath Lab Technologist
