Ultrasound Tech/Sonographer Travel Job – Austin, TX
Job Details
- Specialty: Ultrasound Tech / Sonographer (Maternal Fetal Monitoring)
- Location: Austin, Texas
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Employment Type: Travel
- Schedule: Monday–Thursday 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM; Friday 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM (approximately 36 hours/week)
- Shift: Weekdays only, no call, no weekends
- Typical Work Hours: 7–10 hours per day

- Unit Type: Maternal Fetal Medicine
- Number of Beds: 12
- Staffing: 21 total staff (12 sonographers on day shift, plus nurses, medical assistants, and front desk)
- Patient Ratios: 6–8 patients per sonographer
- Equipment Used: GE Voluson E22, GE Voluson E10
- Electronic Medical Record (EMR): Viewpoint
- Permanent Positions Available: Yes
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist, with experience within the last year
- Certification by ARRT (S) or ARDMS
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- Experience working with Maternal-Fetal patients
