Description
CT Tech Travel Opportunity
Location: Las Cruces, New Mexico
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM), call required (after hours and weekend rotation)
Hours per Week: 36
Job Description
- Perform routine diagnostic CT scanning procedures including head/brain, neck, thorax, spine, abdomen/pelvis, extremities, and biopsy/drainage procedures.
- Provide timely diagnostic services to inpatients and outpatients under Radiologist direction and departmental protocols.
- Perform basic radiographic procedures, fluoroscopy, portable radiographic procedures, C-arm procedures, and OR imaging services.
- Conduct daily equipment quality control (QC).
- Knowledge of CT system processing, surgical/sterile procedures, studies with or without contrast media, and cross-sectional anatomy required.
- Patient ratio: 1:1
- No floating to other units required.
- EMR system used: MedHost.
- No blocked scheduling option.
- Maximum allowed return to office (RTO) days: 3.
Required Qualifications
- Valid CT Technologist license in New Mexico
- Minimum 3 years of CT Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
- Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
