Description

Cath Lab Tech Travel/Contract Position

Location: Tampa, Florida
Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology
Facility Type: Short Term Acute Care, Level II Trauma, Level I Pediatric Trauma
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Day shift, 4x10-hour shifts (6:30 AM – 5:00 PM)
Weekend Requirement: 1 weekend per month required
On-Call Requirement: 1-2 days per week plus 1 weekend per month on call
Floating: No floating within or to sister facilities


Job Description

  • Must have hybrid OR experience in endovascular procedures including EVAR, TEVAR, aortagram, and peripheral runoffs
  • Patient population: Vascular surgical patients undergoing endovascular procedures
  • First-time travelers accepted
  • Locals and candidates with pending state licenses are not accepted
  • RTO (Return to Office) restrictions apply; verbal manager approval only, cannot be included in contract

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Cath Lab Technologist license in Florida
  • Minimum 1 year of experience as a Cath Lab Technologist within the last year
  • Hybrid operating room experience in endovascular procedures including EVAR, TEVAR, aortogram, and peripheral runoffs
  • National certification verification required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
  • On-call availability 1-2 days per week and 1 weekend per month
