Job Opportunity: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

Contract Length
- 13 weeks
Unit Overview
- Unit Type: ICU, Med Surg, ER, Level 3 NICU
- Number of Beds: 160
- Staff: 32 total (Day shift: 5-6 minimum; Night shift: 4-4.5 minimum)
- Patient Ratios: RVU system
- Shift Hours: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (36 hours per week)
- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend (Saturday and Sunday)
- Call Requirements: None
Equipment and Technology
- Ventilators: PB, Drager V500
- Respiratory Devices: Aerogen, V60 BiPAP, Heated High Flow Nasal Cannula (HHFNC), Hamilton C (transport ventilator), Oscillator, Jet ventilator, Nitric oxide delivery, Bubble CPAP
- Electronic Medical Record (EMR): EPIC
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist license in Indiana
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist, including experience within the last year
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
- Experience assisting with intubations
- Experience performing bedside bronchoscopies
Preferred Qualifications
- Candidates with strong NICU skills and acute care experience will be prioritized
