Job Opportunity: CT Tech

Location: Centralia, Washington
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Shift: Night shift, 4x10 hours (7:00 PM - 5:30 AM)
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Perform CT imaging procedures including a variety of patient types from newborns to trauma patients.
• Night shift primarily serves emergency department and inpatient floors.
• Must also perform X-ray procedures on:

  • Extremities (upper and lower)
  • Abdomen/GI
  • Spine/Pelvis
  • Head
  • Chest/Thorax
  • Musculoskeletal system
• Work alongside at least one other tech on nights (minimum 2 techs per shift).
• Acute care, ER, and pediatric experience preferred.
• Local residents within 50 miles are not eligible for this travel contract.
• Pending Washington state license accepted.

Required Qualifications

• Valid CT Technologist license in Washington.
• Minimum 1 year of CT Technologist experience within the last year.
• ARRT Registered Radiologic Technologist (R) certification.
• ARRT CT certification.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Experience working with pediatric patients.
• Experience in an acute care setting.

Experience

• Acute Care, Emergency Room, and Pediatric imaging experience required.
• Prior travel experience is not required.

Compliance and Documentation Requirements

• Government-issued photo ID (Driver’s License or State ID).
• Social Security Card (as applicable).
• Background check within 90 days covering all locations lived/worked in the past 7 years; must be updated annually.
• Education verification required.
• Employment application covering at least the last 5 years.
• Minimum of 2 professional references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting.
• Physical exam within 1 year of start, signed by MD, NP, PA, or DO, confirming ability to work.
• Drug screening: 9-panel drug screen within 12 months of start.
• Immunizations and health documents:

  • Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 12 months.
  • Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap vaccine within 10 years or declination.
  • Measles, Mumps, Rubella (MMR) immunity or vaccination.
  • Hepatitis B vaccination or signed declination.
  • Varicella immunity or vaccination.
  • Seasonal flu vaccine or declination (required during flu season).
  • COVID-19 vaccination record preferred (declinations accepted).
• Respiratory safety clearance required annually for respirator use.
• Fit mask test required for travel candidates (updated annually).
• Annual regulatory and specialty-specific training modules required.

Additional Notes

• Must comply with float policy; may be required to float to other nearby facilities.
• Passport-style badge photo with neutral background required.
• All required background checks, verifications, and immunizations must be completed prior to start.
• Candidates must submit all required documentation and complete mandatory training modules as per facility and state regulations.

This position offers a structured night shift schedule with a focus on acute and emergency care imaging, suitable for CT Technologists with at least one year of experience and appropriate certifications.
