MRI Tech - Radiology (Travel Assignment)
Location
- Michigan City, Indiana
Job Details
- Employment Type: Travel
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Department: Imaging Department - MRI, Floor 1
- Shift: 2nd Shift (1:00 pm to 9:30 pm), occasional day shifts (6:00 am to 2:30 pm)
- Call Requirements: Yes, approximately every four weeks
- Weekend Work: Yes, approximately every four weeks
Unit Information
- Number of Staff: Approximately 7 when fully staffed
- Staff Types: MRI Technologists and MRI Imaging Assistants
- Equipment Used: GE and Hitachi MRI machines
- Electronic Medical Record System: EPIC
Required Qualifications
- MRI Technologist with a minimum of 3 years of experience
- MRI Technologist experience within the last year
- Certification as ARRT-M or AMRIT
Job Responsibilities
- Perform all MRI procedures typical to the unit
Work Environment & Culture
- Strong emphasis on teamwork and patient compassion
- Dress Code: Charcoal gray scrubs required
Additional Notes
- The unit values candidates with hospital experience and strong technical skills
- Schedule offers some variety with occasional day shifts and regular call and weekend rotations
