Description
Registered Nurse (Medical/Surgical) - Night Shift
Location: Nantucket, Massachusetts
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (13 weeks)
Schedule: 48 hours per week, night shift
Housing: Shared housing provided at no cost
Job Summary
Provide nursing care in a medical/surgical setting during night shifts.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Massachusetts
- Minimum 1 year of Medical/Surgical nursing experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association or Red Cross
- PALS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- ACLS certification
- Associate of Science in Nursing or Associate Degree in Nursing
Additional Information
- Must complete and update housing agreement if staying in provided housing, especially if there is a break of 35 days or more between assignments.
- No onsite fit testing available; must be completed prior to start.
- Background checks include international residence or travel exceeding 30 consecutive days within the last 7 years.
- Positive TB skin test requires documentation of a negative chest x-ray (optional but recommended).
- Name change documentation required if legal name differs from credential documents.
