Registered Nurse (PCU Telemetry) - Kearney, Nebraska
Job Details
- Specialty: PCU Telemetry (Progressive Care Unit)
- Location: Kearney, Nebraska
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Shift: Nights
- Hours: 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week
- Unit Size: 21 beds
- Patient Ratio: 1 nurse to 4 patients
- Floating Requirements:
- Float to Medical-Surgical unit as needed
- Float to ICU only for PCU patient status
- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend, if needed
- Extra Shifts: Up to 2 mandatory extra shifts every 6 weeks
Required Qualifications
- Current Nebraska or multi-state compact RN license
- Certifications:
- BLS (AHA or ARC)
- ACLS (AHA or ARC)
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
- Experience:
- Progressive Care Unit (PCU) or Telemetry experience required
- Experience caring for post-Cath Lab patients
- Ability to work in a traveler-friendly environment with many cardiac patients

- This is a traveler-friendly facility
