Description
Registered Nurse - Extended Recovery
Location: Milwaukee, Wisconsin
Employment Type: Travel Nursing (Clinical)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Summary
- Provide nursing care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care for primarily adult inpatients in an extended recovery setting.
- Deliver care consistent with ANA Nursing: Scope and Standards of Practice.
Work Schedule
- 12-hour shifts
- 36 hours per week
- Positions available for day or night shifts (indicate preference when applying)
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Wisconsin.
- At least 1 year of recent experience in PreOp / PACU - Post Anesthesia Care within the last year.
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Associate of Science in Nursing or Associate Degree in Nursing.
- Clinical competence and experience in the care and management of target patient populations specific to area of employment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
Additional Information
- Experience caring for adult patient populations in an inpatient environment is essential.
- Shift flexibility based on unit needs.
No prior travel experience explicitly required.
