- Day shifts, 4 days per week, 10 hours per day
- Variable start times: 8:00 AM - 6:30 PM or 10:00 AM - 8:30 PM
Job Description
- Provide recovery care for patients after procedures
- Manage overall nursing care from admission to discharge
- Ensure patient safety, comfort, hygiene, and protection
- Respond to medical and environmental emergencies
- Coordinate care delivery efficiently and compassionately
- Serve as liaison between nursing, medical staff, patients, and families
- Administer treatments, medications, and nursing skills timely
- Conduct initial and ongoing patient/family assessments including biophysical, psychosocial, spiritual, environmental, self-care, educational, and discharge planning factors
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
- Monitor patient acuity and communicate significant changes to physicians
- Implement precautions to reduce risk of untoward events
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in California
- Minimum 1 year of recent experience in Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU)
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
