Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse - OR

Unit & Work Environment

• Unit: Surgery (Main Operating Room)
• Number of OR beds: 5
• Patient ratio: 1 RN to 1 patient
• Staffing: Typically 5-6 RNs, 6 Techs, 1 Anesthesia Tech, and 1 OR Analyst per day
• Equipment: Standard OR equipment
• Documentation system: Meditech
• Floating policy: None
• Dress code: Hospital provides scrubs (required uniform)
• Call requirement: 2-6 days per month

Procedures & Skills

• Procedures performed: Orthopedic, Spine, Vascular, General Surgery, Colorectal, Robotic, Gynecology (GYN), Ear/Nose/Throat (ENT)
• Preferred skill set: Strong vascular skills
• Required knowledge: Meditech charting system

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Missouri
• Minimum 1 year of Operating Room (OR) experience, with experience within the last year
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) / Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• ACLS certification
• BLS certification
• Experience with Meditech documentation system

Additional Information

• Weekly hours: 36 hours per week
• No patient experience requirements specified
• No floating assignments
