Description
Diagnostic Imaging - CT Technologist
Location: Hilo, Hawaii
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Perform routine CT scans independently following radiologist protocols.
- Ability to scan per protocols and function without supervision.
- Experience with Meditech EMR, Canon/Toshiba CT units, and Vitrea workstation preferred.
- Skills in venipuncture, MIP, MPR, 3D imaging, and procedures such as biopsies, drainages, vascular or cardiac imaging, trauma, or stroke are a plus.
- Shifts are varied 10-hour shifts; no on-call required.
- Must arrive the Thursday before the start date for an employee health appointment on Friday.
Required Qualifications
- Valid CT Technologist license in Hawaii.
- Minimum of 3 years of CT Technologist experience, including experience within the last year.
- Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in Computed Tomography.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Experience working in an acute care setting.
Additional Information
- Must have Hawaii license by the start of the assignment.
- Flu vaccination can be administered during employee health clearance appointment.
- Prior travel experience is not specified as required.
