Description
Diagnostic Imaging - CT Technologist
Location: Hilo, Hawaii
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Perform routine CT scans independently following radiologist protocols.
- Ability to scan per protocols and function without supervision.
- Experience with venipuncture and advanced imaging techniques such as MIP, MPR, and 3D imaging.
- Procedures like biopsies, drainages, vascular or cardiac imaging, trauma, or stroke imaging are a plus.
- Experience with Meditech EMR, Canon/Toshiba CT units, and Vitrea workstation preferred.
- Shifts vary by need; 10-hour varied shifts; no on-call required.
- Must attend employee health appointment the Friday before assignment start (arrival required the Thursday before).
- Proof of flu vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption required prior to contract start.
Required Qualifications
- Valid CT Technologist license in Hawaii
- Minimum 3 years of CT Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
- Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in Computed Tomography (CT)
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Experience working in an acute care setting

- Must apply for Hawaii state license upon acceptance if not already licensed.
- Prior travel experience is not specified as required.
