Description
CT Tech - Radiology
Location: Charleston, South Carolina
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Hours per Week: 36 (Three 12-hour shifts per week, including holiday requirements)
Job Description
- Perform both X-Ray and CT exams in an emergency department setting.
- Work in a unit with 11 emergency department rooms staffed by one tech per 12-hour shift performing both radiology and CT duties.
- Use advanced imaging equipment including GE Revolution Maxima CT and GE Tempo radiology units.
- Documentation is completed using Meditech system.
- Potential to rotate to other shifts or facilities based on staffing needs.
Required Qualifications
- Valid CT Technologist license in South Carolina
- Minimum 2 years of CT Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
- ARRT (R)(CT) certification
- SCRQSA certification
- BLS certification
- Radiology Technologist experience
Work Environment & Additional Information
- Unit dress code requires gray scrubs.
- The facility is a 24-hour emergency and Level II Trauma Center with specialized services including burn care, breast care, and robotic surgery.
