Description
MRI Technician Travel Opportunity
Location: Morristown, New Jersey
Employment Type: Travel - Allied Health (Clinical)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Position patients on examining table and place specified coils (e.g., head or knee coil) near area of interest following Radiologist protocols
- Use microphone system to communicate with patients during examination
- Enter patient history, scan area, orientation, and entry position data into MRI computer system
- Operate key commands to specify scan sequences and adjust transmitters/receivers
- Monitor patient safety and comfort through control room window and closed-circuit TV
- Review scan images on video display to ensure quality
- Photograph images using camera keyboard
- Alert staff about metal hazards in magnet room
- Perform other assigned duties
Schedule
- Wednesday, Thursday, Friday: 11:00 AM – 9:00 PM
- Saturday: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as an MRI Technologist, with experience within the last year
- MR Certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
