Nuclear Medicine Tech
Location
Denver, Colorado
Contract
- 13 weeks
- Full-time, 40 hours per week
- Day shift, 8-hour shifts
Required Qualifications
- Nuclear Medicine Technologist (2 years of experience)
- Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience within the last year
- NMTCB certification or ARRT (NM)
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
Key Responsibilities
- Perform nuclear medicine procedures and related imaging equipment operation
- Educate, position, and immobilize patients for procedures
- Coordinate examinations to support timeliness, quality, and continuity of care
- Follow provider imaging orders and submit images and clinical information for interpretation
- Evaluate image quality
- Prepare and administer radioisotopes according to protocol
- Follow radiation safety measures and infection prevention policies
- Maintain records of radioisotope receipts, use, storage, and disposal
- Assist with patient transfers during examinations
Skills and Work Environment
- Strong communication and teamwork in a multi-functional environment
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, service-oriented setting
- Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office Suite, with ability to learn role-specific applications
