CT Technologist (Computed Tomography) - Nebraska, Grand Island

Job Overview

• Position: CT Technologist
• Location: Grand Island, Nebraska
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Shift: Days, four 10-hour shifts per week (shift start times vary: 7:30 AM–6:00 PM, 8:30 AM–7:00 PM, or 9:30 AM–8:00 PM)
• Weekend Work: Work every fourth weekend from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM and one weekend of call per month
• Equipment: GE and Siemens CT scanners
• Scope: Position requires proficiency in CT and X-Ray imaging

Job Description

• Perform standard radiology and advanced imaging techniques to provide clear views of internal body structures and functions
• Support radiologists in screening, evaluating, and diagnosing illnesses and injuries
• Provide timely and accurate imaging information to referring physicians to aid in fast and effective treatment
• Work within a facility accredited by the American College of Radiology in CT, MRI, ultrasound, mammography, and nuclear medicine

Required Qualifications

• Certified CT Technologist credential (ARRT - CT)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Valid driver’s license at time of application (used to verify candidate location within 50-mile radius)
• Must comply with fingernail policy: artificial nails are prohibited in all patient care areas; refusal to remove artificial nails may result in contract termination

Additional Information

• Candidates may not currently be employed full-time, part-time, or PRN with any facility associated with the specified hospital network or its affiliates
• Radius rule: candidate must reside within 50 miles of the facility
