Description
Registered Nurse (RN) – PCU for ER Holding Area
Location: Savannah, Georgia
Contract Length: 14 weeks
Job Overview
- Provide care for patients boarded in the Emergency Room (ER) holding area.
- Nurse-to-patient ratio: 4:1
- Common patient types: Medical-Surgical, Sickle Cell, Heart Failure, etc.
- Must be able to titrate drips.
- Shifts: 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (36 hours/week).
- Orientation starts weekly on Mondays (Tuesday if Monday is a holiday).
Required Qualifications
- Active Georgia or Compact RN license at time of submission.
- Minimum 2 years recent PCU experience OR 1 year recent PCU with 1+ years Telemetry, ER, or ICU experience.
- Successfully completed at least 1 previous travel nursing assignment (prior travel experience required).
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Must provide a current NURSYS report with no license issues.
Additional Requirements for Submission
- References must be from recent assignments in the same specialty/modality.
- Resume must include:
- Number of beds and trauma level of all facilities worked in the past 3 years.
- Employment type for each position (permanent, travel, or PRN).
- Number of shifts worked per month if PRN.
- Full availability including all requested time off (RTO).
- Start date must align with compliance timelines.
Important Notes
- Strict 100-mile radius rule: local candidates within 100 miles are not accepted.
- Onboarding must be completed at least 7 calendar days before the start date.
- Quick start requests require prior approval.
- Interview process includes a call from a 912 area code; voicemail will be left if unanswered.
- Allow 48 hours before requesting interview follow-up.

- Dayshift, 12-hour shifts.
