Description

Registered Nurse (RN) - Telemetry

Location

  • Fort Wayne, Indiana

Employment Type

  • Travel assignment

Contract Length

  • 13 weeks

Work Schedule

  • Night shift: 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
  • Every other weekend
  • 36 hours per week
  • No block schedule option

Unit and Patient Population

  • Neuro Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit
  • Higher acuity med-surg patients including:
    • Stroke
    • Seizures
    • Post-operative neuro surgeries
    • Level 2 trauma patients
    • Level 1 trauma post-ICU care
    • Diabetic ketoacidosis (DKA)
    • Renal failure
    • General post-operative care

Patient Ratio

  • 5:1 or 6:1

Floating

  • Required to float to other med-surg/telemetry units

Requirements/Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Indiana
  • Telemetry experience with a minimum of 2 years, including experience within the last year
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
  • Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
