Registered Nurse (RN) - Telemetry

Highlands, North Carolina

Unit Information

Unit: Acute Care
Number of beds: 24
Patient ratios: 6 to 7 patients per nurse
Staffing: No unit secretaries, techs, or extra RNs when no tech available
Equipment: Standard Medical/Surgical
Documentation system: Cerner
Scheduling: Three 12-hour shifts per week
Floating policy: Rarely required
Patient population: Geriatric and swing bed patients in an affluent community with concierge-level service expectations

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina
Minimum 2 years of Telemetry nursing experience, including experience within the last year
Current ACLS and BLS certifications
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Experience in a Rehabilitation setting
Experience caring for Geriatric patients

Work Environment

Dress code: Navy or navy top with white bottoms
Culture: Excellent teamwork and positive unit culture
