Registered Nurse (RN) - Labor & Delivery
Location
- Elko, Nevada
Employment Type
- Travel contract
- Contract length: 13 weeks
Unit and Patient Population
- Unit: Labor, Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum (LDRP)
- Patient population: Adults and newborns
- Unit beds: 15 total (6 Labor & Delivery, 9 Postpartum)
- Level 1 nursery with postpartum couplet care
- Patient ratios follow AWHONN standards
Work Schedule
- Shift: Varies (see position details)
- Weekly guaranteed hours: 36
- No call requirements
- Float requirements: May float to other departments based on census and needs
Required Certifications
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- Intermediate or Advanced Fetal Heart Monitoring
Required Education and Experience
- Valid RN license in Nevada
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience, including experience within the last year
- Experience working with neonate patients and nursery experience
