Registered Nurse – Emergency Department

Location: Joplin, Missouri
Employment Type: Travel Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Position Overview

• Role: Registered Nurse (RN) in Emergency Room
• Shift: Night shift, 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (36 hours guaranteed weekly)
• Weekend hours as needed
• Must float to other units as required
• Electronic Medical Record system used: EPIC

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Missouri
• Minimum 1 year of Emergency Department (ED) experience within the last year
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• Driver's License

Preferred Qualifications & Skills

• Critical care or ER experience preferred
• Demonstrates excellent customer service skills
• Basic computer proficiency
• Adaptable to change in a complex and technical environment

Additional Requirements

• Flu vaccination required for all travelers from November 1 through April 1 (exemptions require approval)
• Dress code: Black scrubs
