Description
Registered Nurse (RN) - Hospice (Nights)
Location: Christiansburg, Virginia
Employment Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Nights
Hours per Day: 8
Job Description
- Handle calls appropriately by phone or through home/facility visits when necessary or requested.
- Provide education and emotional support to patients and their families.
- Electronically document all activity at the end of on-call shifts, including calls and visits.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Virginia
- Minimum 1 year of hospice nursing experience within the last year
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Additional Information
- Dress code is business casual with no specific scrub color required.
- The role involves working primarily with patients who have life-limiting illnesses, providing in-home care and support.
