Description
Registered Nurse (Home Health) - Travel Contract
Location
- Rancho Cordova, California
Job Type
- Travel contract
- Contract length: 13 weeks
Schedule
- Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
- One weekend commitment per four-week schedule (same hours)
Job Description
- Provide home health nursing care including start of cares (SOC), resumption of cares (ROC), recertifications, and daily visits
- Typical productivity expectation: 1 SOC and 3 routine visits per day
- Visits are scheduled to minimize travel distance; discretionary points given if travel exceeds 60 miles in one day
Required Qualifications
- Active California RN license
- BLS certification
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience, with at least 1 year in Home Health within the last 2 years
- Experience with EMR system Home Care Home Base (HCHB) strongly preferred
- Must provide 2 supervisory references: one within the last 12 months and one within the last 3 years
- Copy of government-issued ID required to verify legal name at time of application
Additional Requirements
- Candidates must not have been directly employed (full time, part time, or PRN) by any facility associated with the specified health system within the past year; PRN employment through outside firms is acceptable
