Description
Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - Travel Position
Location: Miami, Florida
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Hours per Week: 36
Unit Information
- Unit: Respiratory NICU/PICU
- Setting: Acute care hospital, Level 1 adult and pediatric trauma center, Level 3 NICU, Certified Comprehensive Stroke Center
- Equipment used: High Flow Devices, 3100A, Bunnell, Servo ventilators, continuous nebulizers, Nitric Oxide, Heliox, regular nebulizers
- Documentation system: Meditech
- Floating policy: May provide coverage for regular adult floors for nebulizer therapy, BIPAP, CPT, etc.
Required Qualifications
- Current Respiratory Therapist (RT) License/Certification
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, PALS
- Minimum 2 years of current acute care hospital RRT experience
- Current NICU/PICU experience required
- Prior travel experience is not specified as required
Job Responsibilities
- Provide treatment, care, and evaluation for patients with respiratory diseases
- Utilize advanced respiratory technologies and medication delivery systems
- Collaborate in a multidisciplinary team approach to patient care
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Meditech documentation system
