Description

CT Tech - Radiology (Travel Position)

Location: Nashville, Tennessee
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Hours per Week: 36


Job Description

  • Work in the CT Department using GE 64 slice and Siemens Dual Source Definition scanners.
  • Perform a variety of CT procedures including generalized CTs, Stroke CT, Vascular CT, and Gated studies for pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients.
  • Utilize documentation systems such as Meditech and Fuji Synapse PACs.
  • Schedule options include:
    • Monday to Thursday, 9:00 PM to 7:30 AM
    • Monday to Friday, 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM
  • No floating to other units; must function independently.
  • Department is ACR accredited.
  • Dress code requires solid color scrubs.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a CT Technologist, including experience within the last year.
  • ARRT (R)(CT) Certification.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Ability to start intravenous lines.
  • Proficiency with GE and Siemens CT scanners.

  • The unit is staffed by technologists with no unit secretaries.
  • The department uses advanced imaging technology and maintains high standards of patient care.
  • Candidates should be comfortable working independently and managing a variety of CT procedures.
