Physical Therapist

Location: Greenville, Maine
Setting: Outpatient clinics (floating between 3 clinic locations)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Day shift, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (8.5 hours)
Hours per Week: 40

Job Overview

• ASAP start
• Approximately 18-20 patients seen per day
• Floating required between three outpatient clinics
• Clinics serve a mix of patient types including family practice, rural health, acute care, and specialties such as urology, podiatry, and integrated behavioral health
• Located in a rural health setting with access to hospital imaging and labs on campus

Required Qualifications

• Physical Therapy license (national certification required)
• BLS certification
• Active driver’s license (for transportation between clinics)
• Minimum 1 year of Physical Therapy experience preferred
• Prior travel experience preferred but first-time travelers may be considered upon review

Skills and Competencies

• Comfort caring for pediatric patients
• Ability to administer vaccines and injections
• Phlebotomy skills preferred
• Ability to float between multiple clinic locations
• Proficient with Cerner electronic health record system

Orientation and Support

• Orientation lasts 2-3 days, depending on skill level and comfort
• Support staff available including rooming and administrative medical assistants, provider support, prescription refill team, and phlebotomy (location dependent)

Scheduling and Work Environment

• No weekend shifts required
• Extended hours (6:00 AM – 6:00 PM) may be needed on a rotating basis
• Closed on major holidays
• Time off requires manager approval
• Professional solid-color scrubs acceptable
• Free parking available

Additional Requirements

• Must complete standard pre-employment screenings and documentation including:

  • Criminal background check
  • Drug screen
  • Immunizations and titers (Hep B, MMR, Varicella, TDAP)
  • Physical exam and PPD test
  • Emergency contact and employment authorization forms
  • Various compliance and confidentiality agreements

This position offers a dynamic outpatient physical therapy role in a rural setting with a supportive team and a variety of patient populations.
