Cath Lab Tech – Athens, Georgia

Job Details

  • Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
  • Contract Length: 13 weeks
  • Shift: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Required Qualifications

  • Cath Lab Technologist with at least 1 year of experience, including experience within the last year
  • BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
  • ACLS certification
  • RCIS certification

Onboarding and Compliance Requirements

  • License/certification verification dated within 30 days of start.
  • Fit Test and Respirator Evaluation with physician signature required.
  • Drug Screening: 10-panel drug screen completed within 30 days of start (no THC).
  • Immunizations and Health History:
    • COVID-19 vaccine proof (including booster or approved exemption/declination except for CA and IL)
    • MMR: Proof of 2 vaccinations or IgG titer lab results
    • Hepatitis B: At least first vaccination prior to start (titers not accepted)
    • Influenza vaccine (optional) with proof or declination/exemption
    • Varicella: Proof of vaccination or IgG titer
    • 2-Step PPD or IGRA TB test; chest x-ray if positive TB as per regional requirements
  • Physical/Health Statement: Documentation from exam within last year confirming fitness to work.

Professional and Background Checks

  • Signed Code of Conduct, Confidentiality & Security Agreement, Conflict of Interest Disclosure, and Integrity/Audit Services forms.
  • Standard I-9 verification completed by agency.
  • Criminal Background Check: Federal, nationwide, county (last 7 years), including SSN verification, dated within 30 days of start.
  • Education Verification: Highest academic degree or diploma/GED verified by third party.
  • EPLS, GSA/OIG, NSO, and Joint Commission CORE Exam verification within last year or 30 days as applicable.
  • System Access Form completed and uploaded one week before start.

Skills Verification

  • Skills Checklist provided and completed by agency prior to start (required for clinical contractors).

This position requires thorough compliance with health, legal, and professional standards prior to start. Candidates should be prepared to provide all required documentation and certifications timely.
