Physical Therapist – Orthopedic Outpatient Hand Therapy

Location: Mammoth Lakes, California
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Overview

• Provide 1:1 patient care in an outpatient hand therapy clinic with 45-minute appointments every hour.
• Evaluate patients referred for physical therapy treatment and develop individualized treatment plans with goals.
• Perform physical therapy techniques and modalities appropriate to patient diagnoses.
• Reassess and revise treatment plans every 12 visits or sooner based on patient progress.
• Document patient progress reports timely to align with physician follow-ups and support insurance authorization and reimbursement.
• Work collaboratively with hospital departments, medical staff, and peers.
• Primarily outpatient clinic setting in Bishop, CA with some inpatient and outpatient service interaction.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapist license in California
• BLS certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross

Work Schedule

• Day shifts
• Approximately 40 hours per week
