Description
Job Opportunity: Interventional Radiology Technologist
Location: Portland, Oregon
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Shift: Days (4 shifts per week, 10 hours each, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Work as an integral member of the Interventional Radiology (IR) team providing high-quality patient care.
- Collaborate with physicians and nurses during a variety of procedures including central line placements, embolizations, and stroke interventions.
- Patient population ranges from neonates to geriatrics.
- Rotate between two IR locations within the hospital.
- Call requirement: average of 4-6 call shifts per month.
- Use medical imaging techniques to assist in diagnosis and treatment.
- Ensure radiation safety for patients and team members.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Interventional Radiology Technologist license in Oregon.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist, including experience within the last year.
- Valid OBMI (Oregon Board of Medical Imaging) license.
- Valid ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
