Description
CT Tech Travel Opportunity
Location: Wichita, Kansas
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Days (7 AM – 7 PM)
Hours per Week: 36
Unit Overview
- Large, busy CT department averaging approximately 130 CT scans per day
- Level 1 Trauma Center and Primary Stroke Center
- 750-bed hospital with 24/7 staffing: lead tech plus three techs on dayshift, split shift 9 AM–9 PM, and one night tech (7 PM–7 AM)
- Equipment includes GE scanners (64 slice and above), PACS, and FUJI Synapse
- EMR system: Meditech
Typical Procedures
- CTA chest, neck, abdomen
- CTA cardiac (Structural Heart program)
- CT head with stroke protocol
Required Qualifications
- Valid CT Technologist license in Kansas
- Minimum 2 years of CT Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
- ARRT Certification
- BLS Certification
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with GE scanners
- Prior experience with Meditech EMR
Work Environment & Culture
- Team-oriented with good interdepartmental collaboration
- Dependable and prompt professionals preferred
- Dress code: black scrubs (not provided)
