Location: Andalusia, Alabama
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Hours per Week: 36 (Monday-Thursday, 8:30 PM - 6:00 AM)

Job Description

• Review patient history and physician's orders.
• Educate patients about procedures, equipment, and exams to ensure understanding and cooperation.
• Prepare and administer contrast media and/or medications within scope of practice when ordered.
• Continuously monitor patient condition and respond to changes as appropriate.
• Prepare equipment and supplies; implement safety standards.
• Perform quality control procedures on imaging equipment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve equipment malfunctions.
• Position patients and perform CT imaging procedures.
• Analyze imaging results and address quality issues by repositioning patients and repeating procedures if necessary.
• Enter, transmit, and report scan results.
• Float between X-ray and CT departments as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Associate degree in Radiologic Technology.
• Minimum 2 years of CT Technologist experience, including experience within the last year.
• Radiology Technologist experience.
• ARRT certification in Radiography (RD) and CT.
• BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association.

Additional Notes

• Prior travel experience is not explicitly required.
• Shift schedule is Monday through Thursday nights.
• Must be able to work 36 hours per week.
