Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse - Home Health
Location
- Owings Mills, Maryland

- Travel/Contract
Contract Length
- 14 weeks
Schedule
- Day shift, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM (5 days a week, 40 hours/week)
- Three schedule options available:
- Friday to Tuesday
- Saturday to Wednesday
- Thursday to Monday
- Possible on-call requirement
- Weekend work may be required but generally Monday to Friday is typical
Patient Population
- Geriatric patients
Workload
- Expected daily visit volume: approximately 6 visits per day
- Productivity expectation: 30 points per week
Requirements
Experience
- Minimum 2 years of home health nursing experience, including experience within the last year
- Experience in a home care setting
- Experience with OASIS documentation
Licenses & Certifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Maryland
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Red Cross or American Heart Association
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Valid driver’s license
Background & Compliance
- 7-year criminal background check covering all locations lived/worked in the past 7 years
- E-Verify or attestation proof required
- EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks required within 30 days of start and updated for contract renewals
- NURSYS verification required for all RNs
Health & Safety
- Physical exam within the last 12 months (not required annually)
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year, updated annually
- Required immunizations or proof of immunity/vaccination for:
- Measles (Rubeola)
- Mumps
- Rubella
- Hepatitis B
- Varicella
- Seasonal influenza vaccination or documented declination (collected upon client request)
- COVID-19 vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption using facility-specific forms
- N95 fit test within 1 year, updated annually
- 9-panel drug screen within 1 year of start (instant drug screen acceptable)
Documentation
- Government-issued photo ID must be carried during hours of service
- Copy of auto insurance required
- Completion of contractor activation form for facility access
- References: 2 professional references within 2 years required for travel positions
- Skills checklist updated annually
- Performance evaluations required if previously worked over 1 year with the agency

This position is ideal for experienced home care RNs comfortable with geriatric patient care, documentation, and working independently in the community setting.
