Registered Nurse - ICU
Job Details
- Specialty: MICU (Medical Intensive Care Unit)
- Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
- Hours per Week: 36
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Schedule Requirement: Every Other Week (EOW) schedule required; must be able to work all three shifts within a week if requested
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Pennsylvania
- Minimum 2 years of MICU (Medical Intensive Care Unit) nursing experience, including experience within the last year
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Experience with Epic electronic health record system
- Prior travel or contract nursing experience
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
Certifications and Compliance
- Dysrhythmia Basic A Competency
- Up-to-date immunizations and health screenings including Hepatitis B, MMR, Varicella, TdaP, TB screening, and Latex Health Questionnaire
- Background checks and employment verifications including drug screen, license verification, and various federal/state screenings
Additional Requirements
- Completion of competency exams and core mandatory annual training
- Fit mask test for respiratory protection compliance
- Educational and employment verification documentation required
