Registered Nurse – Emergency Room
Job Details
- Specialty: Emergency Department Nursing
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Shift: Day/Mid Rotation (7:00 AM - 11:00 PM)
- Hours per Week: 36
- Schedule: Every Other Week (EOW) required
- Shift Flexibility: Any shift available; no block booking
- Assignment Requirement: Must be able to work 3 shifts per week for the entire 13-week assignment, no exceptions
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Pennsylvania
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department (ED) nursing experience, including experience within the last year
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- Current PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification
- Previous contract or travel nursing experience
Compliance and Certifications
- Hepatitis B vaccination
- MMR vaccination
- Varicella vaccination
- Tdap vaccination or record
- Fit Mask Test
- Background Check and Drug Screen
- Competency Exam and Skills Checklist
- Educational and Employment Verification
- License Verification (RN license wallet size)
- TB Screening
- Various federal and state screenings including FACIS, FBI, PA Child Abuse History Certification, and others as required
